hey writers if you want to make a metaphor for racism, please maybe remember that racism is literally based on nothing. Africans weren’t enslaved en masse because the Robo-Musa threatened to destroy the world, they were enslaved because it was economically rewarding and politically convenient. If at any point your allegory for racism includes “so <oppressed group> did this major catastrophe and” then you have not only missed the point but you are literally reinforcing the ideas that racism have let racism self-perpetuate (that e.g. black people are naturally dangerous and violent and must be contained or begrudgingly accepted by the Nice White People)

For context, she is responding to grooming allegations from multiple former fans who have come forth with literal screenshots of her asking them their favorite sex positions despite every single person in those group chats being a minor while Colleen was in her 30s. She sent one of these underage fans underwear. There are also videos coming out from her current live show where he sticks a minors hand down her pants on stage and another where she describes a teens outfit as looking like porn. She facilitated an environment that clearly normalized and encouraged poor boundaries with minors who were enamored by their favorite influencer talking to them
She spends the whole time flip flopping between the accusations being total fabrications and that she just made a mistake, providing no evidence beyond saying that it’s mean and everyone is just jumping on a hatewagon. She scripted this whole fucking song and couldn’t even pick a narrative to stick with
Plus, the last time she “apologized” for these accusations, she sent all of her fans to harass and bully her victim because she knew that she could bury it
This was her second chance to get it right and actually respond and instead she pulled out the ukulele and scripted in her dramatic sighs at just the right moment. She even opens by saying that her team said it was a bad idea to respond this way yet she wanted to do it anyway like an idiot
